Annual Fund Drive

EDUCATE - ENGAGE - EMPOWER

The Cedar Valley Catholic Schools Annual Fund Drive is a system-wide initiative to provide unrestricted dollars that supplement the CVCS operating budget.  Annual Fund contributions are used to provide tuition assistance and minimize tuition increases, conduct critical building renovations, and secure vital equipment for student use.  Gifts to the CVCS Annual Fund Drive support every student by bridging the gap between tuition and the actual costs to provide a quality, Catholic education to our students.  Your gift is also a vote of confidence in the legacy of Cedar Valley Catholic Schools--past, present and future.

WAYS TO GIVE

We are grateful for your prayerful consideration to make a contribution to the 2015-2016 CVCS Annual Fund.  Your gift today vitally impacts our children's tomorrow and makes possible a Christ-centered learning experience for each of our students.

School Tuition Organization

Our Faith, Our Children, Our Future School Tuition Organization (STO) is a charitable organization representing all of the Catholic K through 12 schools in the Archdiocese of Dubuque and St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Waverly. The STO offers tuition assistance to families based upon their identified financial need and the amount of money available in the program, as determined by an outside agency.

The STO receives voluntary cash contributions from Iowa taxpayers and allocates those funds in tuition grants to Iowa schoolchildren, who use those grants to attend one of the schools represented by the STO. At least 90 percent of the money received by the STO must be dispersed in tuition grants.

The STO has provided more than 18,700 grants totaling over $17.3 million. Each gift is an investment in the future of a child and helps families in need of tuition assistance afford the education of their choice.
