CVCS Iowa Assessments

This chart give a historical view of Cedar Valley Catholic Schools’ Average Complete Composite Scores for the Iowa Assessments from Fall of 2011 to Fall of 2016. The National Standard Scores (NSS) are used in this comparison chart. The blue left hand column shows the National Average Complete Composite Score by grade levels.

The columns to the right of the National Averages shows CVCS grade-level scores, starting from most recent (Fall 2016). The color-coded diagonal shows past cohort history of current Fall 2016 students (Example of cohort student group: Sixth Grade Fall 2015, Fifth Grade Fall 2014, Fourth Grade Fall 2013, Third Grade Fall 2012). All of CVCS Average Complete Composite Scores exceed the National Complete Composite Scores. 







Iowa Core Summary Report 2016 - 2017

The Iowa Core Summary Report, created by Iowa Testing Programs, provides third through eleventh grade student achievement information for 2016-2017. The 2016-2017 Snapshot Reports for Reading and Math summarizes the performance of our CVCS students across grades and compares CVCS students to students attending schools within AEA267 as well as students attending schools in Iowa.

Proficiency results show the performance of grade groups and compares CVCS students to AEA 267 and the state. Iowa Core report results show how CVCS students performed on major domains of the Iowa Core in Reading and Mathematics.

It is worth noting the percentage of students that are proficient in the area of reading in all three grades (9, 10, 11) at Columbus Catholic High School are above or around both AEA267 and State percentages.

The percentage of students that are proficient in the area of math, in all three grades (9,10,11) at Columbus Catholic High School are above or within one percentage point of both AEA267 and State percentages.
